Post season thoughts/questions.

First of all, in my humble opinion, Leicester had a great season. They won the F.A. Cup, a trophy that any of the "top-4" clubs, and Spurs, would have gladly and proudly added to their team's trophy count. However, once again, they did not finish in the PL top-4, and consequently did not make next season's CL tournament.

- Leicester fans (or any fans), is winning the FA Cup more important to you than making it into the CL? In other words, if you could swop one for the other, would you? Historically, winning the English F.A. Cup was a cherished dream for many Clubs, Players and their Fans.

- Leicester fans: Is Brendan Rodgers ready to move on? He has accomplished a lot, but, without significant owner investment, can he take this current squad any further? Would he prefer to manage a "bigger club" like Man U., Arsenal, Spurs.....? Do you expect him to be with Leicester FC next season?

Would be interested in any constructive opinions.

FA Cup all the Way.

Brilliant Season winning the FA Cup and Finishing in the Top Six with an incredible injury list, yet players stepping up like you couldn't imagine, wouldn't swap it for anything.

According to reports we're already strengthening for next Season with reportedly Boubakary Soumare and Ryan Bertrand incoming, strength in depth is what we need now.

Not unsure where you get that the Owners haven't given any significant investment as they'r e just paid for probably the best new Training Facility in Europe, getting the funds for players isn't an issue, getting them to come to an East Midlands Club is, a fantastic Training Facility is one way of overcoming that reticence as well as Top 5 placing with European Football to build on.

I'd be very surprised if Rodgers is anywhere other than Leicester next Season, if he is, well Leicester is bigger than him or any one person so we'd move on.

Tbh, and with all due respect, if I was Leicester fan I'd choose to win the FA cup as opposed to top 4. Being in the CL is only good for the money men. Winning the CL is hard enough for bigger teams. Leicester would have little to no chance of winning it but the club would make a lot of money. Fans will be more focussed on shiny trophies than the balance sheet so as far as trophies go, the FA cup is a bird in hand which you can actually show as an achievement as opposed to just showing up in the CL.

FA Cup 100%.

For my club regular top 4 is unachievable so sneaking in for 1-2 season and stretching out wage structure to try to deal with it is exciting, but not the be all and end all.

Winning the FA Cup for our club was always my dream. It was the one trophy I believed that, with luck, a club of our size could one day win. I think that’s why it meant so much to me, my little child inside was so excited that that. My 40 year old self was also pretty proud.

We won the cup.

In many years time, when we’re back in the championship and struggling, no one will look back and congratulate us for our top 4 finishes that followed our premier league win. But we will look back at our most successful period in history and say “we won the FA Cup”.

It may not matter that much you guys after e champions league, but to us it meant everything.

It mattered.

Winning the FA CUP is very good for every club in the league but not at the expense of top 4 and CL. Leicester have been in the top 4 more than any other team in two seasons in a row now, so it's disappointing to miss out on CL football again especially in the manner we crash out.

For Rodgers I think it is the best he can go with this Leicester team even though i think the sum of the team is greater than what they have achieved considering how average teams like United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have been currently, surely we shouldn't have taken the advantage similar to what happened in the Serie A with Atalanta. Atalanta would be playing in the CL for two consecutive seasons now and i believe no excuse Leicester should be the CL.

People forget many players like Tielemans, Ricardo, Castagne, Fofana, Preat, Nacho, Perez....are all or almost £30m players, not to mention Maddison, Soyuncu who are well above £20m signings. So we should expect more from the collective sum of the squad. I'm afraid by Rodgers previous jobs especially Liverpool and other factors like teams like Tottenham, Arsenal and Villa likely to improve it will be nearly impossible for Rodgers to motivate the players to even maintain the current top 5 finish.

My thoughts entirely- a very foresightful comment.

Totally agree! This is why I was interested in views from "FANS". Hopefully Leicester can build on their achievements by adding more depth to the team for next season.

100% FA Cup. Did a similar article before the final and I don't think a single Leicester fan said they would take top 4 over an FA Cup win.

No trophies for finishing top 4, but we will always have the FA Cup to look back on.

FA Cup all day.... We held the record as being in the final four times and never won it. Box ticked, as others have said who cares about top four finish and no medal. Just ask a Man U supporter if they would swap with us right now. We may have a chance at winning the ropy cup?
