We're all very proud to see Saka make the final 26-man squad. Especially at such a tender age.

I'm glad Arsenal could do their bit. Here's hoping for more representation over the coming decade.

The England squad is so much better than ten years ago. The likes of ESR would have been nailed on back then.

Saka is as good as any young English player except Foden in that squad. Fully deserved it!
Overall quite an exciting English squad. Never ever would I have thought I’d say that

Oh hey, Saka is a great talent, no doubt.
Yeh, I like the idea of him in the squad, although it is cos Greenwood isn’t there. Would like to see him play a part, hopefully it won’t be a Walcott ‘make a wish’ winner like in ‘06.

Wouldn’t have minded him having the summer off tbh, but I’m genuinely happy for him too.

Hugely talented, and possibly the most versatile player in the squad.

Good luck, Bukayo!

Can't see him having much involvement unfortunately.

Hoping he can be an England regular though, it's been a long time since we had a key player!

Makes sense for Saka to be there with Greenwood out, but our midfield is woefully short.

How can we take 4 RBs and 4 LWs covering 2 positions but only have 4 options for our midfield 3 or 4.

posted on 2/6/21

It will be a midfield 2. Henderson and Rice with Phillips and Bellingham as cover. Mount, Foden and Grealish can all play in a 3 if Southgate changes.

Decent all round performance from Saka against Austria.

Some good attacking play on either flank, a few tackles, and a match winning goal to repay the gaffer's faith.
