3 top class players at CB, RB and CDM would do wonders for our team, it would bring back our spine. Lloris, Top CB, Top CM, Kane.

We could maybe do it on a £30m net spend, if we could somehow bring in £60m for our deadwood, Sissoko, Sanchez, Aurier plus a few other fringe players. That would give us £90m or thereabouts to bring in 3 key players. We might not even need to do that if we can scout some bargains or pick up players into the last year of their contracts.

We could also bring back Foyth (not sure if that is possible), Sessegnon and Skipp, and all of a sudden the squad does not look too bad.

90m will only get us three average players. You don't get much for 30m these days.To get a really good spine you'll need £150m minimum. If we only have 90m to play with then we'd be shifting crap only to bring crap in, unless we're smart with the money and look where no one else is looking. I guess that's what the DoF is for.

This is where we have fallen down countless times....our scouting must be one of the worst in the prem

Give 90m to Leicester I reckon they would end up with at least 2 class players

It’s all about contacts these days ....knowing the agents and contract situations

Our network don’t seem to have any contacts! So we always pay big bucks for average players

We need a dof with a network out there already who has agents ears and knows who’s contracts are running down or who have release clauses

You can have a good window with a low spend

It was suggested that this would need to be spread over 3 players, not 2 so that lowers the pool of talent you can choose from.

Of course you can get in some youngsters and rough diamonds cheaper but in order to fulfil the Conte model, he'll want proven stars now. Not promising player for the future.

Also, if you sell Sanchez, Foyth, Aurier etc and bring these players in with the money gained, you have to take into account their wage demands. If they're premium players in their prime, they're not going to accept the kind of money those three are on. Triple it and we might get somewhere. It's not just about fees.

Yep and that’s what we need ....we are crying out for a DoF to help us as levy can’t do it as he just low balls everyone but expects big bucks for our dross

I reckon he has annoyed every club out there , no one likes dealing with him it seems
