There's a couple of photos been released by one of the contractors working on Elland Road & King Power.

Hopefully we'll have turf rather than an ice rink next season!

Leeds fan, I thought the pitch had settled down towards the last few weeks of the season. Less noticeable slippage in April and May than prior to that.
Danger is that they re-lay and we are back to where we were. Hopefully not.

In that twitter feed, someone mentions that Kinnear has requested an away fixture for our first game of the season to give as much time for it to bed-in as possible.
Not sure if I'm right (and too lazy to do the working-out) but I think the 'emergency' pitch they laid only had three or four weeks from the work being done to it being played on.
This unhurried one should at least have longer to bed-in and better drainage so fingers crossed.

Yeah but this goes far deeper than the turf. New drainage has been needed for years.
