If this is true, it's incredibly damning. But it's probably not true, so.

As for the OP... I watched the first minute of the first Fonseca video and saw "Tactical Periodisation" pop up on screen, and immediately switched off because that was Mourinho/Sacramento's big idea and we know how that worked out.

I take most things with a pinch of salt but it would not surprise me if it where true when you consider the performances of the team over the last two or three seasons. The proof as always is on the pitch. Have our players worked hard?

A sad person to me is someone who used to support their local team like Luton for example and then switched teams to support a club who, won a few trophies when they were growing up. Do you know anyone who fit this profile by any chance David?

My expectations are so low I just want someone who plays decent football. Whoever comes in will be held back by Levy and ENIC.

Ten Hag seems to be the best option. He's used to having to sell his best players and punch above his weight in Europe.

I don't see us getting back in the CL for a long time, unless we get a Poch style appointment. Ten Hag seems the best chance of that.

I agree with this.

Conte would have a good appointment, but it would have been another attempt at a short term fix. Ten Hag seems to be long term project where we can rediscover our identity.

Lets not kid ourselves, Levy doesn't do long term. He just wants to farm and harvest his academy whilst staying in top 8 and be profitable for Enic.

Fans should focus on the here and now. Sad to say but look at Chelsea..even with their mercenary approach. Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Reece James have all come through.
