I've just seen Wijnaldum has been officially confirmed as a PSG player. It looked a hell of a lot like he was going to join Barca, but instead took the easier option; by playing in a poorer league in a team that have no European prestige he is obviously looking at a nice easy ride before retirement. A quality player no doubt but not one that FCB will regret missing out on. To me he's a midfielder that is really good at nothing in particular. Is he a goal scorer? A creator? A destroyer. Not really.
You have to also question why Liverpool got rid of him and when you consider he's now 31, perhaps his best days are behind him. His most memorable moments were a few years ago too when he was more energetic, so maybe that's why Barca let him go to Paris. I think you could see in his last few months at Liverpool that maybe his legs are going and he didn't quite have that same energy of 2-3 years ago. Pedri is a much better prospect.

Culer you said that Wojnaldum was one of Liverpool's best players in the comments on this article:

Now you've changed your mind and credit Liverpool for getting rid of him because "he can't be that good" as a result of them doing that.
So which article reflects your actual opinion - this one, or that one?

I see we're being linked with Pedri now. If he's a much better prospect than the world class Wijnaldum then we're laughing.

Pedri is a lifelong Barca fan, so are all of his family. Nowhere is linking Liverpool with Pedri. You've got no chance of signing him.

His grandfather founded the FCB Tenerife supporters club:

He won't leave Barca he is in love with the club and LFC can't afford him anyway.
