Like I predicted, Portugal looking good for a good Euro, with the first team ever to score 3 goals in the last 10 mins of a game in Euro.
Ronaldo scoring a brace, and taking a lead in the race for the Golden Boot 2020.
I think Spain will come good too. Tonight yet to come, is the team they all want to beat: France.
Great game, France v Germany. All the memories of a 1982 semi-finals in WC in Spain, which has been billed as one of the greatest games, had legends, assaults and drama.
Mouth-watering prospects.
Portugal, looking tasty

No, I said Portugal looking good and Spain will come good, read again

Looking good...will come good... it’s semantics
No offence but they’re hardly bang on the money predictions are they

You're wasting your time. Lunatics running the asylum with this one.

Morespurs covering most possibilities here- mentions Spain, Portugal, France and of course can never write off Germany.
Anyone else Morespurs?

Can you write off the Germans? Not if you look at their track record, but this was a cagey German performance tbh. The French did the minimum with the maximum effect!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They done that in Russia. Won without being brilliant in any game.

Hardly the way things work out though once or twice mate. Greece won it when they were thought of as one the candidates to get eliminated in the first round? So, yes plenty of potentials, not least the likes of England, being at home, Italy who can have enough to go all the way, along with the Netherlands and of course, Belgium.
Plenty there.

Makes you sick right? Some teams are so good they don't have to perform at peak levels, and yet win trophies at this level. Look at that squad, the French have! littered with talented individuals!

However, Germany imo, won't sustain it. They have weaknesses in couple of critical positions, one being at CB. Think the likes of Belgium/Italy would be too good for Germany if they met.

I think the implication was you’re pretty much suggesting every major nation can win it - you’ve gone for Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and now England, Italy, Netherlands and Belgium. Its like analysing the Premier League for next season and saying that any one of City, Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs or Leicester will win it.
Here’s a question for you Morespurs - which one nation do you predict will win the tournament?!

No Idea who will win this ...except I'll bet England won't!
France has talent all over the pitch.....Belgium, even without KdB looked pretty good.
Netherlands?
Germany looked off the pace against France, loads of possession second half, and hardly a shot.
Perhaps over the hill now...like Joachim Low.
Right now, my ordering is
1. France
2. Belgium, Germany, Netherlands
3. Spain, Italy, Russia
Have not seen Portugal play.

Yes I did understand the underlying reason for the comment but what I was trying to say that I picked only 2 nations which I fancied for the tournament. My counter argument was that I could’ve chosen more than the 2, Portugal and Spain.
Now to your question, which I think will win it. This comes down to the luck of the draw as much as to the strength of the side. So far, the French look tenacious at the back though you could argue the Germans were lacking imagination to unlock the defense?
The most impressive performance so far for me is from the Italians! First game of the Euro, potential banana slip against the unfancied Turkey and having fired blanks in the first half, they stuffed Turkey with 3 goals!!
I need to look at that draw but Italy is the dark horse right now. Sorry can’t be specific!

Yes Morespurs does seem to have picked the first seven or eight favourites as his winner. I thnk perhaps he just needs to narrow it down a bit.
I predicted France from the off. And I think Italy will do quite well.
