of the Euros, just bits and pieces of most matches, but Italy look like they could be a real player at this year`s Euros. They really do seem to be going under the radar.
They have an astonishing record:
10 wins in a row
31 goals scored since they last conceeded
59 goals in their last 19 games and only three conceeded
29 games ubeaten and 80 goals scored
Astonishingly England are still favoured in the betting in front of them, and Italy can still be backed at 6/1. Worth a little nibble I think. I have always fancied France, but Italy have become the first club to qualify, have a very decent manager in Roberto Mancini, so they could be in with a real chance.
I have not watched a great deal

Immobile Sandy. Definitely worth a purchase if we lose Harry. Older but still a quality striker and plays for Lazio, so you are not trying to prize him away from the huge clubs

They play some good football and are clearly altogether as a team, Mankini is doing a good job.

I think I read/heard somebody say that Italy's achilles heel may come down to the fact that, against the top nations, they may just fall short in attack as they don't have a so-called "top striker".
Immobile has 150 goals in 5 seasons for Lazio, so I'm not sure how much more he can do to be considered a top striker. The big club/name theory seems to be what goes against him.

Wouldn't read too much into betting for this one.
The bookies know loads of England fans are completely deluded so can offer terrible odds and still rake in the cash.
