Hi mate

I managed to get one on launch day (pre-ordered on Amazon, of all places).

I must confess, I absolutely love it. I’m a bit of a PlayStation fan boy, so there was never too much doubt that I wouldn’t, but the controller, interface, and certain new games are brilliant.

As said above, the blessing is that there aren’t too many optimised / exclusive games for this gen just yet, so you can enjoy them on PS4. One thing I have loved, though, is the performance patches on PS4 games; it allows you to go back and replay your favourites from last Feb almost like they’re a new game.

In terms of where to get them…I think I’d just put in stock alerts on each of the big sites (Amazon, game, maybe a computer shop like curry’s) and hope for the best.

It is good but as a lot of posters are saying there's no many PS5 exclusives and won't be for a while because most of the market still using old gen.

I will say if he plays anything like Warzone you're at a huge disadvantage on an older console now.

I do want the Mass Effect remaster though...

Along with a potential re-release of the FF13 trilogy, the FF7 remake part 2 and the next elder Scrolls game.

I used to spend all weekend gaming but I lost interest, haven't played a game in years. I can't stand football games or games that involve racing around. Resident Evil and Red Dead Redemption were my type of games, back in the day I loved Medal of Honour, I'm not mad on COD as I don't like having to control different characters. I love a game with a good sniper rifle.

Scratch that, I now probably won't get a ps5 as Microsoft make Bethesda games exclusives

Got one. Went down to Game and put a deposit down it's coming on Friday. I had to pay for a sodding package deal, which cost me near £600, they're not selling just the console the robbing barstewards.
