The vacancy is now toxic - whoever takes it is 9th choice and for any good manager left in the running, like Potter, it’s almost embarrassing to accept it.
So we should get Klinsmann, make it a short term role to re-galvanise the squad and give him an interim manager title, like Hiddink had at Chelsea a couple of times.
Give him 6 months or a season, let him wipe the slate clean for Levy, and when we resume our search, it’s no longer the same poisoned chalice that it’s currently become.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s a joke suggestion I presume? The last thing we need is another short term appointment that will delay the project of a long term rebuild. Pay the right man what he wants, show him a vision of what can be achieved with everything we’ve built the last ten years and he will come.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Course it’s not a joke. Who’s the right man that we’re going to pay right now? Which self-respecting manager will want to walk into this shambles, knowing that 8 other managers have already been approached first? We’ll end up with another Gattuso type, and nail the wrong man down to a 3-yr contract.
I’d rather have someone who’ll at least bring some positivity back into the club on a short-term basis, which Klinsmann would do. It lets us move on from this utter sh!t-show and the right man can then be found once this episode’s forgotten about.

But that's the thing. Is it ?
I would like to bet, with the exception of Conte, Poch and possibly Fonseca, the rest are simply media stories, primarily designed to, one again, undermine Spurs.
Klinsman is a classic example. Lineker knows if he asked Klinsman about Spurs on national tv, then suddenly it is a story that does the rounds along the lines of "Klinsman a possible candidate" Look at the website. It is already on there, and another "story" has started.
Lineker is a prime exampleof pundit spin. He is 100% Leicester, which was evident in his presentation of the cup final, which generated 147 official complaints to the BBC for blatant bias. He sees Spurs as one of Leicesters rivals, and in true football media style, will go after them at every opportunity, because he thinks that will give Leicester an advantage.
The sad thing is that genuine fans just keep falling for it over and over again, with every new name fabricated by the media, resulting in Spurs looking more and more toxic and a mess.

How do we know that 8 other managers have been offered the job? Oh I know, you read it in the papers or on the internet!
That’s how journalists work, create an image from nothing and run with it, before long every blogger online has jumped on it and before you know it we have almost promised anyone and everyone the Earth!😳

You have just named 3 managers we have tried getting and failed miserably to get. Nobody needs to justify the mess we are in because Spurs are doing that all themselves. Literally can’t believe there are still supporters out there so blinded by Levy’s incompetence. There’s not many, but still people defend it. It’s a shambles steve, it’s as simple as that. We have not had a manager for 2 months and are desperately fumbling about trying to get 6th or 7th choice targets. Don’t blame the media. The club are a f** joke. When will you lot wake the f** up ? Can’t believe people are agreeing with your post too mate.

And FYI, Klinsman has said Levy spoke to him, so this isn’t just some nonsense media story. Levy doesn’t know what the f+* he’s doing
