It's almost as embarassing as The English Media/pundits, hyping up average players into International megastar footballing Gods who only have to turn up to tournaments now before a ball is kicked.
Then make excuse after excuse as to why they can't function as a team and seen incapable of passing a ball forwards.

I would take great pleasure in laughing at the jocks for their embarrassing treatment of a 0-0 draw as if they’d just won the whole tournament - if it weren’t for the fact England hadn’t even got to a major final for over half a century despite having a 55m population and bottomless pit of FA funding behind them. Holland have about the same population as Scotland and have utterly embarrassed England on international front for the last 40 years or more. Laughing at Scotland feels hollow, like it’s the best we can do because we ain’t got the bollox to laugh at Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland etc - we cant compete with the countries we should be up there with, so we laugh at the little guy. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy chinning a midget from time to time, but you can’t do it every week and still get a buzz off it.
