Stranger things have happened, Maf.

Arsenal have one of the most unjustifiable wage structures around. We've just ended the past season with Aubameyang and Özil as the top 2 highest earners in the league. Continuing to pay the latter right upto the last day of his contract despite not kicking a ball for us in 2 years.

Throw in Willian, and Arsenal made up a third of the top 10 highest EPL earners last season. Not to mention about half a dozen other Arsenal players falling just outside that Top 10 wage bracket.

I shudder to think of how we'll use the extra £500k-a-week now that both Özil and Luiz are finally off our books.
