If this deal goes through, is it safe to say we have no chance of winning the league next season?
This is not an early excuse for Ole. Irrespective of this move, I always thought Ole should've walked last season due to the fact I feel he has reached the ceiling. I am not sure we can improve much more under him.
Regarding this deal though, if it goes through, I would cancel the Sancho deal and go all out for Haaland. City will arguably have the best manager, best striker, best midfielder and best defender in this league if this goes through.

If Haaland is available for similar money then why would City go for Kane. Haaland is on a similar level right now but with higher potential and likely another decade of football in him

Yes Kane is a class player, arguably the best CF in the world. However, who Man City or Chelsea sign will affected or title chance far less than who we sign ourselves.

Busy at work, I see the serial wafflers are making up situations wherein this does not work. KDB supplying Harry Kane balls, and it won't work haha. Keep on being in dreamland. This is a striker that has been doing this numerous years in the premier league, as a man who knows how to put the ball back in the net (Shearer) has said, Kane is breaking his record if he goes to City.
