Even if all the media speculation about the next Spurs manager is nonsense (some of it is, but a lot of it isn’t), then frankly we only have ourselves to blame for that as well. This whole manager search has been an absolute PR disaster and along with a new head coach I think we also need a new press officer as well. I mean compare this to Everton who are also in the hunt for a new man to take charge of the team and it’s an absolute joke. Reminds me of that winter transfer window I think in the Ramos or Redknapp era when we tried to sign every striker under the sun only to be rejected by the lot of them. This stuff is always happening to us, and there is too much of a repetitive pattern, for people just to blame the media for it.

The only issue with the sacking of Jose was that it was overdue and should have pulled the plug sooner.
The hiring of the new guys looks a shambles only if you assume the world and his wife have turned us down (which they haven't) PR wise it doesn't look great, but the only thing that I take great issue with is the Fonseca/Gattuso clusterfk.
