Wales and Bale(with his silly hair cut) are a bloody joke ...

Not sure Roberts did very much Leedsfan, he looked like he's spent a lot of time in the gym but other than that I barely noticed him.

Thought the German ref for the Wales game was either biased or swayed to a great degree by the partisan crowd.
Worst referee by far in this tournament where the refs have generally been really good.
Wales looked dead on their feet. Thought Tyler looked sharp for the few minutes he was on and was the only player who looked like he wanted to attack at that late stage.

100% agree….which is why Bale was correctly irritated enough to point it out.
Would we ever see a Scottish or English referee for a Wales v Denmark game?

For the 2nd goal it wasn't a foul. Moore initiated the contact and tried to buy it. If he'd just blocked him and not thrown himself to the ground he'd have retained possession.

Interesting that all the commentators have been raving about how good the refs have been, letting games flow until the second goal yesterday, the main BBC commentator didn't talk about there being an infringement but the co-commentator, was it Robbie Savage, went on and on about it being a foul.
I think if you are pro-Welsh you think the ref had a poor game but his decisions were not inconsistent with the general standard of reffing in this tournament. Refs have been told, as much as possible, to let games flow.
Yes, if Leeds conceded a goal in similar circumstances, I would have wanted a free kick, if we'd scored in similar circumstances I would probably think the ref got it about right.
Should Wilson have got a red, probably not, but it was a challenge he didn't need to make and we've all seen them given.

I live in Wales, so was looking at the game from a slightly biased perspective, but there were a number of incidents where I thought the ref was harsh against a Welsh player and lenient against the Danes in similar circumstances.
Not sure if the 'foul' before the second goal was a foul (the commentators seemed to think it was) but the red card for Wilson was ridiculous. I've never seen a more undeserving red card. Yellow all day.
That ref was terrible.

Couldn't understand the Wilson red for the life of me.
Agree it was a yellow all day long.
The only thing I can think is that the ref didn't see it properly and thought it was one of the "he's lost it" tackles you sometimes see players make when they know they are on their way out of a tournament and they lose their cool and/or don't give a damn cause they have nothing more to lose at that stage.
Overall its the worst reffing I've seen this tournament... by quite a margin

Do reds from a tournament such as this carry over into other international matches?

Thought the ref was spot on with the red card.
The player was lucky wilson was so late he didn’t connect as bad as it could have been. No intention of playing the ball and if he connected at the optimal worst case time I think he’s endangering the opponent and therefore a red card.

By that measure, he'd have still had a red even if he'd missed the other fella!

Absolutely yes. Laws of the game. You don’t need to make any contact to be sent off from the field of play.
Consider an attempted headbutt or punch that fails to land - you still expect to see a red card. Tackles are no different. If the intent is there to endanger an opponent then it’s a red card. What else was Wilson trying to do?
