Not gonna lie - can’t say I’m particularly ecstatic about the appointment of Nuno as the new Spurs manager, but at least the circus is over and we have someone in before pre-season starts, which was essential. Let’s see how he does. Don’t expect the football to be great, but he can make up for that with results.
Hopefully also the troll who lives on the Spurs chat board will have lost all credibility after this, not that it will matter, trolls thrive on the noteriety and the fishing, and that will likely continue, and that’s a shame because while I don’t really post much, I used to love reading this forum and found a lot of the discussions on here quite well-informed and engaging.

Yeah it could well be. But right now without the benefit of hindsight or knowing where this is going, I just can’t muster up to much enthusiasm for this. He’s a decent manager, I don’t think he is anything special and my expectation levels are about that as well. I don’t hate it, but I don’t really love it either. It’s just a bit of a meh appointment.

Poch excited me a lot when he came in and to a lesser degree Martin Jol as I’d heard great things about him. In terms of players you are right, but if the Tomiyasu links are anything to go by, it’s just going to be another summer which flatters to deceive.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is a very good CB who plays like a midfielder, good ball skills and a wicked left foot. Would be a good acquisition if we signed him👍

I hope you are right. Honestly I can’t say I’ve seen him play too much but he does seem to get caught out of position a lot, and Bologna did concede 65 goals last season. For now it just feels like just another cheap and cheerful Levy siging.

Not entirely sure why not posting much would de-value anything I would have to say, I mean it’s not like when I do post I’m writing nonsense in October like Liverpool are finished and Tottenham are going to win the title under Mourinho or I have a friend who I trust with my actual life and he’s told me Martinez is going to be the next Spurs.
