I am quite happy to see Pogba sat on the bench when there are less talented but more devoted players on the pitch running their socks off. He could be a great player if he could remove his head from the other end of his torso.
Sell him to a 2nd Division club for £50, if any of them would want to risk that much for him.

Every team needs world class players

Genuine ones though.

I’d love to hear arguments against him not being one, on medals alone. I know that is not a barometer to success, but it’s definitely a baro, at least.

Has he been world class for us in 5 years? He's not even been close for me. He should have been because he's got the ability.

Last 2 seasons alone:

2019/20: 1 goal in 22apps
2020/21: 6 goals in almost 50apps

If that's world class then then the game is gone.

If Varene were a 28 year old Rio, Chiellini, VVD etc then yes, I’d probably do it.

But players like Pogba are too few and far between to swim him for a good, but no great CB.

My thoughts exactly.

Rumours abound that Pogba and Varane were involved in a dressing room fracas immediately after France were eliminated by Switzerland.

If true then the last thing we want is more toxicity within Utd's own dressing room.
