I'm with you Red, it's embarrassing. I suspect the people doing it would be the first to be up in arms if other nations booed our anthem. It's laddish to say the least.

Fair point, but doesn't that have more to do with the politics of the UK? Did the Scots boo the national anthem at Wembley? The Dane's didn't boo last night as far as I recall. I just felt a little embarrassed by it.

Why is that an excuse? It's roundly booed in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?

You should be condemning that just as much as the small number of England fans doing it.

Why are people talking about this like they’ve just discovered it? It’s been going on for years and other fans of other nations have done it during the tournament, Denmark v Sweden, for example.

I’m not saying I agree with it but old news being presented as “new” is something that’s been prevalent during this tournament and in the media generally recently.

It is just pathetic, nothing more, nothing less. There should be a respect for a countries National Anthem. Boo the players when they have the ball, but to disrespect a nation is pathetic.

Throw them out.

I'm totally unbiased and i think they should be thrown out and Denmark should play Italy in the final.

Booing the anthem, setting off fireworks to disrupt their anthem, diving for penalties, laser penning the keepers eyes when he's trying to save the cheated penalty.

This from a complete neutral.

Booing the athem gives them their power, cant stop it now
