Lloris already has his WC medal.
Kane has 3 good years left and deserves to be playing at a better club.
My guess is that Levy will screw everything up, ask too much, and eventually piissss Kane off.

Exactly. Levy is a business man and a ruthless one at that. Kane is screwed and other players will take note. If spurs get another Kane come along u can bet they won't ever sign a big contract. Why would you? Guys done enough to warrant a move if he wants it imo.

The facts are Kane is under contract until 2024 and Levy is no different to any other club Chairman when it comes to contract "talks" and playing hardball
Look at the Messi fiasco last year. Still at Barca.
Look at Grealish. Vila didn't want to sell last year or the year before, so he is still at Villa, with even less chance of winning something than Kane.
I don't like Levy or his "profits before success" attitude any more than anyone else, but why should he just bow down and let his prized asset just walk out the door ?
Do you really want to see Kane running around in a red shirt every time Utd are on the tv, or the non stop coverage of Kane and Utd that we will get on Sky every day ?

Nah, neither do I. On this occasion I am with Levy and hope he fights tooth and nail to keep him at the club.

Good post Steve. I personally would make every player see out their contract. Nobody forced them to sign a long contract. They do it for greed, so they must honour the contracts, they so happily signed.

Far to many of the financially cheque book clubs think they can just rock up and take whatever player they like. City will not get either Kane or Grealish, and why should they? They are not a particularly big club, just have lots of money.

To think that you could have said "Kane has more chance of winning something with England than Spurs" not too long ago, and it would have been an exaggerated joke at how little chance we have of winning stuff. Now it's actually the truth.

So you want spurs to make no money from transfers ever again, its a two way street, what would you say if a fringe player comes out and says spurs must honour the contract hes signed and he will only leave on a free when it ends
