Overall, taking into account their group performances and slightly harder knockout route, Italy were worthy winners.

Italy the best side in the competition, England second best yesterday and the result was deserved. Kane, Mount and Sterling all anonymous throughout and I cannot remember Henderson touching the ball. England had a good tournament but a word on English supporters who really let the country down, abusing Saka, booing national anthems and the taking the knee, the laser pen incident and storming the stadium, more like a Trump rally than a football tournament, we should never get another one awarded.
