If the clowns running our club as much as contemplate this deal, then I give up. Truly and finally give up!

He’s probably better than all those players, in fairness. But I’m not sure why Arsenal would be interested when they’ve got better strikers and bigger problems.
Plus it’s probably a shiiiiit move for him anyway. Playing for an uninspiring, uncreative team that just cross it to strikers that aren’t good in the air, doesn’t sound like the best place for him to develop.

Summed up our attacking play in a nutshell

I don’t think he’s that bad either but he’d flop miserably here. As mentioned earlier on this thread, Giroud would be a better signing for Artitler’s ‘style’ of play

If it suits us to move him on to you, that's what we'll do...
We'll let you know...

If we really do want him, he’ll go to Villa

Tammy is a good player. I wouldn’t mind signing him, but not if he is going to impede the progress of Balogun / Martinelli. He led the line brilliantly for a whole season for Chelsea.

Great forward, Tammy Abraham. Been totally let down at Chelsea.

He's not a 'great' forward...he's an adequate forward, who has not lived up to promise he showed in the Championship, & is not the calibre that Champions of Europe Chelsea require

Casualty of Frank not managing to get it done. It's safe to say that the way Roman does things at Chelsea, a young player "not making it" there is more a reflection of the managers results than their ability. You won't necessarily be dropped because you weren't good enough but moreso because Roman was unhappy with the season overall and the manager was able to go and buy someone better to play ahead of you. In other teams manager are forced to work with and develop youngsters by financial constraint. They only had that issue at Chelsea whilst they had to serve a transfer ban.
I don't see an issue with a 40 mil fee either, we sold Iwobi for 45 mil years ago so 40 for Abraham is an ok deal. Could be better but we ain't being fleeced, he's worth it at 23 so long as we sign him on a decent length deal. Laca/Auba are old and one will probably go this window anyway. But even if they don't it'd be good to bring in Abraham to get/have ready to take over. As good a youngster as they all are/can be, I cannot see Nketiah, Balogun or Martinelli developing enough in one season to be able to potentially lead the line for 22/23. Have Tammy playing regularly this season and getting used to this team and 22/23 he'd have the job approaching his prime.
Only worry with it for me is TA is a Wengerball player not an Artetaball one so unless we are changing the way we play, I can't see him thriving here at all before Arteta's gone.

£40m is at least double of what he's worth.
Better off looking abroad.

40m pounds is too much for Tammy Abraham. Especially since he's a player they want rid off.
