Maddison's goals

Having a couple of players who can score from distance would be good in terms of giving us more options, if teams sit off us we can bang one and if they try to stop that it'll draw players out which gives us space to work in.

Arsenal should offer Leicester AMN, Nketia and Nelson plus £20m if they refuse include Willock and if they refuse we offer the same to Villa for Greish if they refuse we just go abroad for some gems like Aouar or Locatelli.

Agree that they won't accept that offer, but you seem to be really flummoxed by the idea that we might get Maddison?

Sounds like by all accounts he's out of favour, not getting on great with Rodgers, Leicester moving to a formation without a traditional 10 & a history of selling players and replacing them well.

I still don't have confidence in us to get it across the line, but there's plenty of reasons for it to happen

I just don’t see why Leicester would sell unless it’s huge fee.

Guess if he's out of favour, not suited to the system they're working towards and they can get £60m which they would likely reinvest very well then they consider it a smart move

Leicester sells Maddison and replaces him with West Broms Matheus Pereira for half the price. Will be good business by Leicester again.

Me too, surely he can go to clubs in European spots? He's certainly good enough and hardly swimming in controversy, everyone knows Rodgers is a tool anyway.

Truth is no player with any sort of established career and profile, in his right mind will be looking at AFC as a good transfer prospect right now. They've all just watched the season we had so know it's bad right now. They've seen the sh !t boring football they'll be forced to play and seen the manager be an absolute all season then turn around and slate/blame the players when his sh !t results were called out.

What's to join? "Oh yeah let me sign up to go be bored, lose and have to put up with Arteta and his god awful sh !t too." Isn't a sentence I see many wishing to say. Locatelli already showed he ain't dumbass enough to come and anyone else worth having will do the same. Only thing that gets ON to a sinking ship is Sea Vultures.

Watched West Broms last 10 or so games last season and Pereira is a tidy little player, easily more exciting to watch than Maddison but he likes to run with the ball alot more and being good at it like he is, the entertainment vs JM factor is a given. I don't expect Leicester to miss Maddison at all if Pereira is who he's being replaced with. Possibly his FKs but I think Pereira's decent at dead ball striking too. if I remember correctly.
