Two former Premier League “makeweights" come head to head on the opening day of the Championship season.
Nobody knows which relegated players will still be at the West Midlands club when they kick off against the Cherries, and nobody knows who their new manager is, other than it’s some bird that Amy Winehouse used to sing about.
Get off to a bad start and I fear the worst for the Boggies. Maybe they will bring Sam back in February to try and avoid the Double Drop?

Far from ideal preparation for Albion, as their only decent player announces he wants out and demands a transfer just before the start of the season!
Oh, won't you come on over?
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over, Valerie?

Where have all the Boggies gone?
Long time passing,
Where have all the Boggies gone?
Long time ago,
Where have all the Boggies gone?
Gone over to Villa every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

A quick look at transfermarkt and you can see that a total of 14 players have left lolbion since they crashed back down to their natural habitat of the Championship.
They have recruited a couple of journeymen on free transfers from League One but you’d have to assume they are going to struggle massively next season.
Pereira has joined Kane on the picket line, and they have a manager with a woman’s name,
This has all the makings of a very, very entertaining season for Wolves fans ……
I predict the return of Fat Sam in February to save them from the Double Drop!!👍

Off to a bad start, two points dropped on the opening day and now playing catch up to the big Midlands teams, Birmingham, Stoke and Coventry.

And so to the present day. West Brom's number one poster on West Brom.com after defeat at Swansea:
"Garbage manager. Absolute insanity his tactics are. I expect Bournemouth and Fulham to go up easily, the rest is an absolute lottery of awfulness."
I thought that was quite generous. West Brom are not going to finish in the top six. A very old and tired squad with a sprinkling of young headless chickens that should really be working as grave diggers or hod carriers.
Two games a week is killing the old boys. There's no chance of a club sale whilst outside our elite league because the gardener would lose £150m on his investment.
It's great fun watching the slide.

3 points from the last 9 for lolbion.
I really hope they make the play offs though. It will be hilarious watching them fall at the last hurdle
