In the course of reading several of the below articles the OP Title keeps popping up.
A statement that we are behind those 3 teams. False.
2 years ago we were behind City & Liverpool and ahead of Chelsea
Last year we were behind just City & ahead of the other 2.
This summer we have strengthened the long running issue of a quality wide player & look imminently set to address our CB issue.
Chelsea have not addressed their major issue and even sold a striker to further compound this. Sure Tuchel took them to a cup win, but so did DiMatteo.
Liverpool have signed some defensive cover but lost a first XI Midfielder. Which is odd because their issue last year was actually scoring and creating goals when TAA went off the boil as their MF isn’t required to be creative.
So I would say it’s a false statement to say United are behind two teams they finished ahead of who have not strengthened while United have significantly strengthened their first XI

It was wrapped up in a genuine prediction.
Unless Liverpool’s cb’s all keep getting injured again next season - which isn’t the wildest scenario given three of them are crocks and one has returned from an acl injury - it should really help his form next season.
Plus I think he’ll have had his nose put out of joint with all the England stuff and really have a point to prove.
Firmino’s gonna have a LOT of misses next season with all the chances Trent will create for him.

Hence why we need a striker and not another wide forward, the amount of chances we miss from crosses into the box is mid boggling.
Kane would have a field day with the quality our fullbacks have.

Would you consider having a punt on Ings? If Jota and Firmino are still at the club, Ings as well gives you solid options and doesn't rely on dropping a ton of cash. I know he's been and gone but was it not mainly injury that disrupted his first spell?

I expect us to win the league next season. Our team is packed full of talent.
I have no objections to any united fan believing they will win the league, they have made 2 outstanding signings and if shaw and maguire carry their euros form across all of a sudden there's a very formidable team there.
I think any of the big 4 can lay claim to fancy their chances next season. City arent as far ahead as the league suggested last season. Its certainly the strongest looking 4 i can remember since the fergie rafa jose wenger years.

Very hard to judge but on paper you wouldn’t have many utd players over city’s or Liverpool’s still for me.
Genuine class on paper is who
Shaw
Maguire?
Varane?
Pogba
Bruno
And thats about it until rashford regains his form,
Question marks over maguire as although he’s improved still had some shockers last season (spurs for example) and varane as a new signing.

Sancho Cavani salah
VVD if he returns as the same player gets in, TAA if he rediscovers form does too but aside from that pretty obvious.
Sancho edges Mane on last seasons output, time will tell if it can be replicated this season

I'm not sure how you can put a player who didn't even play in this country in there on last seasons form.
