We need a fast start

Anyone else concerned about the lack of pre-season again this time around?

Last season we had no real pre-season and we had a very poor start.

This time around it only now that are getting our first team players back with less than 2 weeks to go and only a single friendly left to play.

AWB and Greenwood are probably the only 2 from our pre-season training and friendlies so far likely to be starters when the season starts.

This time around we have a very winnable first 6 games but I worry that because all of those teams presumably have had less players on International duty that they will be ahead of us in preparations.

A start like last season rules us out of the race imo.

I guess you can still have a good start after losing your first game. Haven't really looked at your schedule.

Was only a few short years ago United fans were calling it the Ropey league and Channel 5 cup. It’s back to being a big trophy now apparently.

You lot were creaming over the world cup world super international world cup, which means playing 2 matches. You sent a full first team there and conceded a domestic cup for it. You know all about bigging up cups you've won. Fact is the EL is a big trophy for most of the footballing world.
