Football is back

It's been a while but it's finally match day again. WITH FANS. A reason to celebrate as we welcome our old friend League One after our almost inevitable relegation from the Championship. Unfortunately we have to wait until 17.30 to kick-off our season and we find ourselves away from home with a tricky visit to Charlton.

Our chairman/owner finally seems to be understanding that he knows very little about football which has seen him back Darren Moore this Summer. A host of new players have arrived on loan and on free transfers and most of the big earners have gone on to pastures new. Only God knows how Adam Reach continues to play at a higher level than his abilities warrant.

Anyway, best wishes to all those fans making trips to watch their teams today and good luck for the season ahead. Its going to be a long, hard season but at least we have our football back.
