Animal rights protesters have staged a march to Downing Street in London in a bid to save Geronimo the alpaca.
Geronimo has twice tested positive for bovine tuberculosis, and the Department of Food, Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra) has ordered he be euthanised.
About 30 campaigners joined the demonstration from Defra's headquarters in Westminster to Number 10.
Owner Helen Macdonald, who imported Geronimo from New Zealand, believes the tests are returning false positives.
More than 100,000 people have signed a petition calling on Prime Minister Boris Johnson to halt Geronimo's killing.
But Mr Johnson's spokesman insisted the order will not be reversed and said environment secretary George Eustice had "interrogated all the evidence".

They should set up a competition where people line up and have a go to see whether they can knock the alpaca the fack out with one punch, fiver a go, if you KO him you win a set of steak knives or an Amazon voucher or something. Eventually it’ll die from all the head trauma, job done and you’ve made a bit of bunce out of it rather than having to pay expensive vets fees. They only smother them with a pillow and charge you £180 for the privilege anyway, I’ll be drowning our dog in the toilet when his times up - cheaper and no less humane.

Also, I'm gonna stand up for the majority of farmers that work 365 days small business up against some of the biggest scr3wing them over so milk is a few pence cheaper for 3 litres. It is a facking hard graft albeit no cant tells you what to do day to day.

Ace, you are probably thinking along the right lines but I am thinking a step ladder and an assurance you can't transmit bTB sexually and charge £5 a pop with someone sluicing out the deposits every 5 customers or so?
