yeah looks bad now but hes 23 not 29 in a month like martinez. hes probably further along in his career than martinez was at 23. Martinez barely played any first team football until last season ffs and hes 29.

29 is young for a GK. he could still be quality when he’s 39

Plus it doesn’t really help Arsenal now. They downgrade their keeper in the hope he might one day get to the level of the keeper they already had.

Let’s not forget that Martinez was at Arsenal for 8 years and was never played!l moves to Villa and looks a great keeper, then the same people who sold that player are willing to spend 30m on Ramsdale ???
