The Faithful travel to Peterborough on Saturday - more in expectation than hope due to a couple of solidish performances in the last couple of games. Its got the crowd singing again without the usual groans and mutterings - or maybe this is because alot of the more......ahem .......fickle fans are not attending?
Competition for places will be keen after Tuesday's game. Several youngsters acquitted themselves well with Festy O'Ebesole generating an excited hum in the crowd whenever he touched the ball. And Joz seemed to know what to do a couple of times. And Ravi M endeared himself with that instinctive strike - so who gets dropped?
Peterborough have got off to a bad start which bodes well for them if they are playing us. We tend to be nice to teams on a bad run.
My memories of Peterborough are of a calamitous 3-0 defeat on my birthday - which really tempered my birthday celebrations. And talking of birthdays - Happy Birthday to Fin now residing somewhere in Europe, not sure where........🎂🍻🍺
