Contrary to popular opinion the club

are not on their knees. Take it straight from me, who has been at the coal face all afternoon cheering the boys on, the Harry Kane team is no more, but we have our Tottenham back.

Great performance today, atmosphere was fantastic all afternoon, especially in the South Stand, where I was sitting, and not an ounce of moaning anywhere around me. All supporters were fully behind the team on the pitch, and generated possibly the best atmosphere ever at the new stadium.

Could not fault one player today, Tanganga and Moura were both outstanding, Skipp played well, Sonny does what he does best scores winners, Bergwijn does what he does best, misses sitters, although the worked tremendously well. Dier and Sanchez both very solid (who said Spurs were going to get trounced, with those two at the back?). All in all every team worked very, very hard, and this game was just a follow up on what I have been watching pre season, that without Kane, the team have all worked for each other. No fancy dans, just plain hard graft from all of the team.

Of course I predicted this result pre match, and had my usual small bet on Spurs, paid for my ticket, and the next game`s ticket. Easy money really backing Spurs against City at Home. I think that`s six on the bounce now. 9/2 was like a gift from God.

So when I got home I put on Sky Sports News, and that mug Neville is on spouting so much rubbish about Kane. Do they ever give up, its fecking cringeworthy watching him, Souness, Keane, Carragher and the rest of the northerners mugging themselves off, continually talking about Kane going to City. They were almost in tears that Spurs had beaten their financially doped team they were all bigging up.

Oh and Don, Spurs have not thrown in the towel.

And Kane got it in the ear big time. Maybe he will now have second thoughts about going to that plastic financially doped club, just for some cheap medals. He will never play in front of a more passionate crowd than the club he is at. Hopefully he will learnt a painful lesson, and now settle down and carry on at Tottenham.

Looks like City were over confident........
left their A team on the bench.......
Kevin de Bruyne, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus were introduced in the final 20 minutes, while England's Euro 2020 pair Kyle Walker and John Stones were unused substitutes, as were Aymeric Laporte, Rodri and Bernardo Silva - a formidable array of talent.

So, I doubt they'll do that again. And maybe they do need Kane?

LOL that misrable git Ted has turned up now. What`s your take on Spurs beating City for the sixth game in a row at WHL then Ted? You were slagging off the team this morning.

One win does not a season make.....
And anyone but you would know that if DeBruyne ain't playing, City is not the same team.
Yup, we managed to beat their B team 1-0.
Want to bet what happens when we meet again?
Or are you now thinking we'll win the Champs League?

Thought Spurs were great after the first 10-15 mins, Tanganga and Moura the stand outs.

Can't even enjoy winning our first game of the season.

sounds like you cant wait for us to lose so you can say I told you so.

We do not have the quality of city or the depth, but we played like a team, with determination and no small amount of quality. Not enough for some so called supporters

LOL the B team, a squad worth £890 million, and Ted is still making excuses for them. Ted you seriously are not a Spurs fan, if you cannot get up for performances and wins like yesterday.

Ted is no Spurs fan, he criticises the team to much, even when they put in such a great performance like yesterday. His first port of call is hoping Spurs lose a game. What a nonsense comment he made that Spurs beat City`s B team.

Thoroughly enjoyed it Sandy. Thought we were outstanding and fair play, all the players worked their a** off. I still think Stevie B’s miss could of cost us and his finishing ability isn’t up to scratch for me. Lots of work still to be done though mate. 1 win doesn’t make us world beaters. We need signings this window still, but a very impressive performance and credit to Nuno. Such a likeable fella.

Yes..it was City's B team.
Pep was over confident. He won't start with DeBruyne on the bench again!
Nuno has got the squad playing tough to win.
It was a great game of footy.
Now maybe...something you are too stupid to mention...
Kane may have a rethink.
Sandy... you are a total clown...you blow smoke thru your asshole....and I await to see what you are saying by Christmas.
