Can Arteta lose and draw this season before the fanbase is willing to accept nothing less than his sacking? Season ticket holders, how long before you do nothing but boo to get him out (as some of you did Wenger no doubt)? Just how many more matches of drull, boring ineffective football and humiliating showings are you willing to sit through before you make your voices heard and force the owners hand?
I like to think that last season was a supporters blip due to Covid emptying stadiums. Fans couldn't loudly boo in mass disapproval and yell for his sacking. This season you'll be able to though so how long until you get this useless of a manager OUT of our football club?
How Many Games...

How do you guys want to replace Arteta when he is inevitably sacked?

Presumably with a suitable alternative - or did you mean Who?

I did mean who, but your reply nailed it anyway!!

I think most of the fan base want him gone but it will take a lot for him to get sacked. He's certainly getting the full backing of the club so it wouldn't make sense for them to sack him any time soon

I don't typically slate managers but I do think Arteta is out of his depth. What is happening at Arsenal now is very easily how we could have gone, had we employed someone other than Ole. I know a lot of people don't rate him but he brought our club back, put the Manchester United back across it and I feel that's what you lot could really do with. You are pretty unrecognisable from the Arsenal I grew up with. Not just on the pitch, you just don't have the same 'Arsenal' image.
People seem to forget where we were and I look at the situation with Arsenal and it shows how difficult it can become, once you fall even further behind than 5th/6th.

He’s been backed this summer, so there isn’t any hiding places for Him now. I think most fans don’t expect amazing things this season, but there has to be clear progress this season. No runs of losses and dull football like last season. I’m a critic of Arteta, and I think he is very lucky to be in a job here still, but I’ll give him a run of a couple of months with this squad before deciding 100% he should go. The Brentford game was abysmal, we’ve got to play very strong teams for the next 2 games, so I won’t go full Arteta out even if we lose three in a row. As bad as it was, Given the circumstances and now he’s got his players, I’m willing to write Brentford off as a one off IF we go on a run after Chelsea and city games. Don’t think we can go to mental if we lose to Chelsea and city because obviously on their day they can beat any team. But If we can’t show progress in the fixtures after those games Arteta will rightly come under huge pressure.
There’s still big issues with this squad, but it’s not so bad we shouldn’t be able to play well and get points against most teams from 7th and below. If we’re struggling after playing Norwich, Burnley, spurs, palace, Brighton and villa, Arteta has to go.

Genuine question, in fans eyes taking historical success out of it, which signings this summer will improve the first team (keeper, maybe?) and how good do you see the squad to overtake those ahead of where you finished last year?

The signings have barely impacted the first team (Odegaard and White are the only two, and White wasn't needed when we have Saliba).
I don't see us making much of a dent on the top 8 this year / shooting up the table. The top 6 teams are still lightyears ahead of us, especially with Arteta in charge.

In addition, for me the jury is still out on Odegaard. He is definitely a good player, but he almost feels like a bit of a luxury player to me. Doesnt' score much which is where we're seriously lacking.

If Arsenal finish 6th or 7th, that’ll be par for the quality of the squad. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Artera around there.

I'll add that the reaction of the fans in the stadium could be a factor. It seems certain that Stan doesnt care less about what fans think, but not sure about Edu and Josh. I expect there will be fans booing if we play poorly. The question is how many will, I could see it anything from being a handful to maybe half. I expect less to stat wiht against Chelsea but if we dont show improvement it will grow and could be like the Wenger out protests with fans fighting each other. Hypothetically of course.

Nah, the fighting among fans with Wenger was because the fanbase was divided real vs spoilt plastics. In Arteta's case I think just about all the fans agree they want him gone. So when they all start booing, there won't really be anyone standing up to back Arteta so nothing for anyone to be fighting about.
