Arsenal:
I feel the media reaction to Arsenal's defeat against Brentford has been OTT. The days of allowing a sample size of more than one game before drawing final conclusions have well and truly gone it seems. Yes, defensively Arsenal were shambolic, however their attacking play through Smith Rowe, Tierney, Saka and Pepe was at times impressive, but that of course was drowned out by the result and some over zealous punditry by Jamie Carragher. Let's also not forget that they were also missing their two most experienced strikers against Brentford.
I expect Arsenal will go to a back three against us today which should suit Ben White and I also expect a reaction from Arsenal after last weekend.
Chelsea:
We are a very confident team at the moment and it shows in our excellent build up play, but sadly still not in our finishing. Palace were rubbish last weekend, but we were also very good and totally controlled the game throughout. Lukaku is going to make a big difference to Chelsea in front of goal this season, but I am uncertain if he can hit the ground running in his first game back at Chelsea today.
I expect Chelsea to also start with a back three today, but I can envisage a scenario where we switch to a back four sometime during the match.
Prediction:
Arsenal will be better than they were last weekend and they have become a bogey team for us over the last 4 or 5 years. However, we are playing well and brimming with confidence and if we play to our full potential then I see Chelsea winning the game 3-1, but most likely the last of our three goals coming in the last five or ten minutes of the game.

We have have about 6 or 7 first team players missing today.
Easy Chelsea win

you normally have 8 or 9 go missing even when they're on the pitch

I'm wary of calling this. If it was at SB or behind closed doors I think we'd have them, but the crowd will be difficult to turn as they'll just be happy to be back. Not impossible as they're such a mess from top to bottom atm, but having this fixtures in a few months time would've been easier.

Their crowd will be well up for it, they always are but concede or if they are struggling to create, they loose their voice quick enough.

Just by today's game lukaku could be the missing piece of the puzzle for a Chelsea title.
Sort of like van dyke for Liverpool.
