If the 80's brought us West Indies dominance and the lack of world class spinners, the 90's saw the Windies eventually lose their top dog mantle to Australia and see two of the greatest spinners in Cricket history emerge.
It also saw two all time great batsmen score runs at will for their respective countries. These two being Lara and Tendulkar.
With plenty of world class pacemen still around, this team was a lot harder to pick than the 80's one with bowlers like Waqar, Donald, Walsh and Gough missing out.

Yeah the 90s was a strong era for test cricket. Maybe there is arguments for Mark Taylor, David Boon, Kirsten and my personal favourite being Graham Thorpe. Hard to put the extra batsman in with that bowling lineup.

Cricketers have an easy life. Back in the 90's what could have been better than to stroll out across the dirt in Pakistan to face the gentle friendly bowling of Akram, Younis, Afridi and Akhtar.
