Now that we can relax with Harry staying put, we need to put things into perspective moving forward.
There is no doubt that his words “staying at Tottenham this summer" is wide open to interpretation that he might move in January, watch this space🤔
City’s alleged original offer of £100m was actually made up of £75m plus a further £25m in add insult.
Based on the Grealish deal, this is almost derisory and very insulting, no wonder Levy did not wish to deal with them. Contrary to what Sky report there appears to be no other bid submitted, not even the £125m figure being bandied around.
My feelings are that City felt certain they would get their man, and the newspapers just hyped it up by ignoring the truth and embellishing the situation with loads of conjecture.
Despite what Trevor Sinclair has said about Spurs fans not forgiving Harry, that is a ridiculous statement.
What is there to forgive? Yes he was naive to allow his brother to be his agent, naive to not have a buyout figure in his 6 year contract (again fault of his brother). There might well have been a verbal agreement with Levy that he would be allowed to leave, but with a caveat that said it had to be a minimum amount etc.
I for one am delighted he is staying, I will be giving him 100% support going forward whilst he is in a Spurs shirt.👍

Doesn’t really matter what date does it ? The fact is it’s resolved and we don’t have to worry about deadline day now

Been saying for weeks that if City wanted him, bid the 150m which is a realistic figure and see if Spurs want to deal. But they made their own bed by overpaying for Grealish - they themselves set the price for Kane. England captain, top scorer in the league year after year, and 3 years left on his contract. If you pay 100m for a donkey, you have to pay much more for a stallion.

Don't we all think it is now time to STOP fixating on City ??
Sky have shown they are absolutely obsessed with them, to the point City are the only story in town. Even Lukaka only lasted for one day, then they were back to City.
As irritating is that they don't seem to think City are ruining football, are not somehow doing anything wrong by buying their success, and that we ALL want to hear and read about them 24/7.
The reality ( for me ) is I really don't see then as some sort of wonderful happening in the football world. They are 3/4 of the way to total domination of OUR game here in the UK, and form a very small group of clubs who, given another couple of years, will have sewn up football across Europe.
Personally I don't want to watch 3 blokes sitting around a table, with their silly little laptops ( which are probably not even switched on ) telling us they are mates with anyone worth knowing in football, and constantly have the "inside track" when in reality, they know as much as me and you.
Is all this rubbish going to stop once the window closes ? no, not really. Sky are already lining up their next City story by going with the "well City will just buy Kane in the next window"
For me, I only switch Sky Sports on now to watch the actual game ( quite often with the volume off ) then steer clear of everything else they broadcast.
