For any others out there that have members cards. Seems this new system the club have introduced for the members card might actually have worked.
Today I secured 2 tickets for the game saturday night. I could've had 2 for the burnley game last week but had work commitments. Saturdays game is only the 2nd time ive secured tickets directly from the club in about 3 seasons. Members cards really weren't worth a jot.
The new system they introduced in the summer helped swipe away approx 5000 dodgy memberships that were being used by touts. I had my doubts it would have any effect but it appears to have made a massive difference.
Bring on saturday now!!!!

That’s good to hear , I used to be able to get tickets most seasons when they were sold on the phone . As soon as it went to the internet then like you I have struggled - 4 tickets in the last 3 seasons . Am hoping to get some success when they announce the results of the sept ballot

Have to remember the tour demand is in the toilet. Cant travel so no market so others have a chance.
Hotels, not so happy etc.
I wouldn't assume that it'll continue cos eventually demand will pick up and the touts will be back buying up seats

You might be right. I will enjoy it while it lasts and at least with me being able to purchase tickets through the club it will give me a decent points tally for games next season. Maybe the 1 good thing to come from all of this.
