Man City v Arsenal

With the right tactics we could get something from this game. Maybe even win it.
If not then back to reality after winning 6-0 in midweek

It has happened before albeit in 2015

It could happen again
City are not unbeatable
The players need to believe in themselves

City 0 Arsenal 2

Either that or a damage limitation exercise
Keep the 1 stars coming

I'm actually really worried about Arsenal turning into a City. The Qatari rulers are making noises about us. Would honestly rather see us relegated.

God this is embarrassing. Don’t worry, you’ll probably get your wish.

If the identity of the club you're meant to support doesn't matter in the slightest, why not support whichever team is best on a given year? What is the point of sport, even?

Tell me what exactly is our identity?

Fortunately, for now, not the reputation-laundering arm of slavers.

I think not being complicit in slavery is a good identity, personally, but you do you.

Looks like a damage limitation exercise

That's the spirit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you for still supporting City. I would still support a relegated Arsenal, and would probably still support a Qatar-owned one, but does it honestly not bother you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, not in the least.

I put up with owners that dragged us to the depths so I can certainly stick with owners who genuinely want to see us at the top.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's only football to you? It really irks me that we're owned by a trophy-hunting Walmart heir. That's several degrees of evil. But the Qataris use literal slaves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's why I'm glad our owners are from a progressive Arab country rather than Qatar.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Abu Dhabi does not have clean hands, but I get having to compartmentalise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I support my local team, always have done.

I've no control over who manages them, owns them or who who they sell or buy.
