I think the squad is fine tbh.

I just think vs cfc klopp got it wrong. 2nd half keita should have come on for Elliott and i may gave have brought AOC on as well; both have dynamism and can break through stubborn defences.

Also thought we played too slow 2nd half..no.need for new signings imo

I'm a Chelsea fan and I do believe the red was harsh. However, I am a fan of Klopp and his style of football but today the front three and the midfield, apart from Elliott, lacked tempo, energy ... class. Salah, Mane seem to be lacking something. Chelsea were too comfortable. TAA is supposedly a great crosser of the ball, didn't see that at al today. I know we are a very good defensive unit, I know we close the spaces well. But for Liverpool not to make a clear cut chance (apart from the action leading to the penalty) in 93 minutes - nearly 50 against 10 men, it must be disappointing.

I still believe you are a good team with a great manager but something seems off at the moment.

when you look to the bench and your only hope is Jota and you don't have any injuries as an excuse then you clearly are lightweight in attacking options.

to use United as an example, if Ronaldo, Sancho & rashford aren't finding a way through Ole can turn to Martial, Cavani or Greenwood

thats gonna make a difference over a season.

you'll notice where I listed the options....

vs them we didn't have Cavani rashford or cr7 available.

so basically we were in the same spot you will be all season with those options you have.

we still hit the bar and had 3 shots cleared off the line but will agree it wasn't our finest performance

Lfc do not have a 9. We have origi. We refused to stretch chances and played in front of them. Trent allowed alonso the run of the park by playing as a no 10 right smack in the middle of the park.

Theres a theme established over 18months of inability to break down 10 men back teams. We did the same again yesterday. Put on those subs and you get exactly the same result as not one will stretch a team and bot one will get behind.
