Willian showing more class and integrity than the entirety of Arsenal Football Club. I wonder how Arsenal fans feel about the fact the only classy thing at their club came from Chelsea

Willian overall was good overall, good experience for the younger players to absorb/good for squad depth, it’s undeniable, we could miss what he could’ve offered the whole squad and on the training ground, he clearly loves football and leading by example, so how have we allowed someone like this to leave for nothing? He’s worth at least £1m-£10m and we let him leave for nothing at all. He is a gentleman and we didn’t deserve him or his precious time.

Willian is a good player but he's just not the right type of player for Arteta. Arsenal's attacking players are all struggling - it's not a coincidence. I think Willian has just shown a lot of class by walking away from a shed-load of cash. He will be criticised but many a player in his position would have sat on their ass raking it in - I would have!!! Good luck Willian.

Poor guy got hounded out by that mob and even showed class by apologising.

I liked Willy for Chelsea,he gave us good service over the years,but we know that he had a few off days as well,as does everyone.

Willy also is not silly when it comes to accountancy of his funds either,he has made a lot of money, and can now go home and enjoy the benefits with his family.

Change the record GT, Willian gifted Arsenal £20m!! and you have the nerve to criticise him and us?! Absolutely appalling. This is Anelka sums of money, as a free gift. Maybe you should flash the cash the clubs way… but we all know you would suck the club dry in a heartbeat.

Willian himself has said he's left for nothing. No reason to lie. All other sources have said the same.

I'm sure he's getting a signing on bonus from the Brazilian team as well.
