Striker

Hi guys

Is anyone else a little worried, that Spurs don’t seem to be in the process of signing, or taking on loan, another striker?

In the past, we’ve taken Llorente & Vinicuis on loan...

I’m also aware that we missed out on Martinez... our main target...

In no way should Kane be risked in this newly formed Europa Conference League... complete waste of time..

Son is not a centre forward & never will be... he can’t hold the ball up,for a start..

So, currently we have 4 right backs & only one centre forward.. ridiculous... talk about the lopsided...

Palace are about to sign Edsonne Edouardo for about £14m.... plus add ons... he’s young & would make a great squad member...

Thoughts?

Big fan of edsonne edouardo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He looked totally disinterested in the Rangers clash at the weekend. No running and little enthusiasm in my opinion😳
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe cos he knew he was leaving and didn't want to get injured?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His goal scoring record was decent last season but his work rate was poor. There’s a reason top clubs stopped getting linked with him.

Fair enough. I did wonder why Rodgers didn't go for him

We can sign 10 right backs but cannot get a second striker

He's wanted to leave for a while. Pretty mixed reports about his attitude

Another striker should be among the main priorities but I feel like just keeping Kane is enough for Levy and the club to justify doing nothing.

There must be plenty of young strikers out there to look at.

I think there comes a point when you're looking a average to crap strikers for the sake of it and Scarlett's on the bench. Parrott has started well at MK, too.

A loan striker could work if we can shift Aurier

you'd think Southgate was our manager

Not concerned no.

Son can play up top IMO.

Would rather progress Scarlett than buy some mid range striker - if Scarlett comes good it helps us out long term.

Not sure why some seem keen to offload Bergwijn - I’ve been impressed. He’s rough around the edges for sure but we’re not in a position to buy the finished article players - I also think Jose set him back about a year in his development - wold like to see what Nuno can do with him .

Seriously thinking that Levy is happy with the squad. 3 out of 3 and he has a strong case. But we still need to reinforce - striker, midfielder and central defence to deal with inevitable injuries.

This seems like transfer groundhog Day.

I have maintained for a while that it will take two or three transfer windows to fully reinvigorate the squad. So am happy with the business done so far. Defence seems to have been addressed. Kane is staying. Midfield can be addressed in the next window or next season.

The whole team was never going to be changed in one go.

If you can't get a winning squad together in one window you should not be chairman. The squad will never be stable over 3 transfer windows....
players you're hoping to keep will want out.
