Has he definitely gone Spyro?
Is it loan or loan with buy/buy back option?
After years of complaining about this sort of youth sale, I'm starting to think that this could now be a good way forward for Chelsea. If they are good enough they will make it (Mount, James etc), if not then give them the opportunity to make a career elsewhere at a slightly lower level, whilst at the same time give Chelsea some financial return?

Most are gone with a buyback clause too.

I agree with you though, take it on a case by case basis for sure but with our success our academy is showing at producing top 5 league level players it’s no surprise that we don’t have space for them all but also that clubs over Europe are more and more interested in poaching them.

Thanks for the warning Sheriff - I'd noticed amf's articles before, so I guess I'd have been disappointed not to have got some sort of reaction for my first post !!
