From losing late on in the efl cup to Lloyd dier who did nothing in his Bolton spell scoring the winning goal in the first league encounter at the unibol and losing 4-3 from 2-0 down on New year's Day 2020 Burton have won all 3 fixtures at the unibol. Bolton finally picked a point up at Burton in the last game before covid. Team news. Bolton are without Sheehan on international duty, John with an unspecified illness. Likely changes from the Cambridge game Lee or thomason for sheehan and gordon for John although baptiste could come in at centre back and Johnstone move to left back. Don't forget 8pm ko.

So Dennis has refused the contract offer that the club has made to him. You know what they say, no one person is bigger than the club. As IE says it is now down to Dennis.
Does Evatt rate him good enough? He has been made an offer so it's debatable if the offer was made so that the club could cash in on him at the end of the season rather than letting him go on a free.
It would be a pity to see him go especially for nothing but Evatt seems pretty resolute that there will be no further offer on the table.

It's a win win
If he is one of those that makes it back he can still sign for us or anybody else.
If however he is one of those that doesn't fully recover to the same standard of football we can withdraw the offer, walk away and let Dennis go his own way.
