Leicester did great to win the FAC. Great Teams yes they finished 5th but they’d been top 4 all season, they fell away as a result of lack of depth.

They’re a good side who’ve been well coached by Rodgers and have had good recruitment they last few years or so, but I’m not having that they have this amazing squad full of quality and depth which is levels above ours. Even if you subjectively say you prefer there’s, you have to objectively say there’s not much in it.

They aren’t finishing 5th again this season from what I’ve seen so far that’s for sure.

Forfana is a massive loss for them. Similar to VVD for Liverpool last season. Yep it will be a struggle with the Ropey as well.

We'll see where Liecester's vastly superior squad get them this season.

IMO we will once again be pretty close to them and especially now we have a bit more stability.

"I personally would take 6-7 of their first 11 ahead of yours and in terms of depth, they have more too."

So two thirds of their XI is better and their squad is better. Seems pretty comprehensive!

Not really. If the say 4-5 first team players that I would have from Spurs are miles ahead of Leicester players it negates it completely.

Taking "6 or 7 of their XI ahead of ours", implies, no it means that you would take 6 or 7 players ahead of any Spurs players.

If you meant that youd take more from their first team than ours that's fair enough but, along with the additional statement that their squad has more depth, still seems a pretty damning judgement of the Spurs squad...if we only have 4 players any good and a poorer squad.

It's hardly damning to say that I think that a team who finished above you and won an FA Cup with more injuries than any other team in the division has a better squad than you. I stand by that and a quick glance over both squads, to me, shows that in terms of depth they are ahead of you.

There is nothing between the 2 teams, points wise, and Spurs also made a final.

and lets not forget that Spurs season was an utter mess for reasons other than injuries.

Spurs clearly have a better squad than Leicester. Wigan won an FA Cup, did that mean they had a better squad than Man United at the time?

Spurs badly underperformed last season, that will not happen again. Leicester have crumbled last two seasons, when it comes to the crunch, showing their squad is not that good.
