Impressed by Ramsdale

He a baby isn't he, was watching him thinking that solid as he looks in GK stuff, it's kinda hard to see because his face is nowhere near as convincing as his GK ability and presence. I don't actually think his is, but he LOOKS petrified every time the camera's on him. It;s like his face just permanently says "AAARGH HELP!"

Plenty of potential there though.

Very impressed with our goal kicks yesterday. Usually with Leno in goal when the defenders come up short it means they will pass it between themselves like utter cretins before going on the lose the ball.

With Ramsdale he could actually see the opposition players creeping towards our.defenders and instead of taking a risky pass which could put your cb or cm in trouble he punted it long.

Just doing that causes confusions as if the opposition don't know what you will do they will probably hold.back and not go all in on the press.

That's what Leno used to do, it all only really went pear shaped for him once Arteta banned him from kicking long. Luckily though Ransdale does look comfortable with the ball at his feet in a way Leno never has, even with his permanent 'AARGH' face. So if Arteta bans him from kicking long too then he may cope with it better than Leno did.
