we are all aware of what we think is a jinx on our nr9 striker position in so much as its very rare we have a fantastic one.
But we have also been blessed i one particular type of box to box defensive player. We have had Obi mikkel who was much maligned but i think very good, weve had Makalele who invented a whole new position on the pitch and now we are lucky to have Kante. There maybe more but these come readily to mind- maybe Essien but he was slightly more attack minded.

Trouble is vav - he keeps getting injured... But we are incredibly lucky to have him, possibly is back today and we will see the difference

Re Lukaku to use him at his best we need to supply him better... I also think he needs to drop slightly deeper in some games and come and actually find the ball

it did and Timo looked spot on. MotM id say.
didnt realise but in 60 games for chelsea timo has scored 14 assisted i think 8 and had 16 goals disallowed inc one of each again today.
