I'm 17 and looking at university next year, to do the course Sports Journalism, after visiting open days and such events i really want to sort of be putting together a portfolio for myself, i report weekly on my football teams match for my sides website, but finally decided to enter the world of blogging, with my lay-out and editing features sort of not up to too much (LOL:P), just focus on the writing, as i'm sure you can imagine viewing famous blogs that get thousands of views every week is slightly daunting when creating your own, and wandering how the hell it starts off and where you get the publicity.
So if any of you are bored at work, or just got a spare five minutes, just to bump up my view counts, or leave a comment on there with feedback i would be immensely appreciative, bare in mind this is very new, so there is an obvious lack of articles there so far, but i'm building, if you don't mind what you read, perhaps bookmark and visit once a week or whatever.
Honestly though, fellow reds, muchly appreciated!
Cheers
YNWA!

You can get a sport section for a TLD site if you want. That's if you don't want to be one of those blogspot users.

Gooner in peace!
If you really want to start getting attention, look at promotion guys on twitter or ask your large blogs if you could write a column for them.
Good luck matey

I like it...maybe you could compact the Charlemont Star links into one click-able link to the reports section of the club website....other than that it looks good!

What a coincidence! I'm also 17 and I want study English at Durham Uni with the intention of doing sports journalism as well, although my preferred field is cricket. Its a great thing to have a blog set up, ive recently got one going as well, and its a good thing to put into your personal application: eg "I'm a published writer"
