...the next big super club?
And if so where does the imminent arrival of a new oil rich club in the Premier League mean for Tottenham in the long-term?
Newcastle United...

They will splash the cash in January, I would be worried for Pool, a lot of their players are around 30 and only have 1 big contract left, so would jump at the wages that will be on offer.

If it means the standard of football in the Prem rises, then I'm all for it!
Just watched the Belgium v France game.....Terrific football as one would like to see every day.
And some ex-tottenham players, and one current player.

Anyone else think that football at the top level is starting to become a bit pointless?
The super rich buy a club, they bankroll the best signings, turn them in to superpowers who then win everything.
I know there has always been money around and it’s never been a level playing field, but it just seems to be getting a bit out of hand now.

Now there is a mini Soveriegn league. They can't all win so it should be interesting times ahead. We just need to focus on ourselves. What it does show is when we identify a marquee player for a position we need to movr fast and secure him. Like we did with Romero.

I think it should give other clubs owners a Kick up the proverbials because the league just got a little tougher.

This is another Spursy thing....
1. These Arabs buy NUFC and not THFC
2. We play them next, so they'll be all playing for their careers at a club which will likely go places. It will be a full house of over excited Geordies cheering them on with hope and happiness for the future rather than being groaning and moaning about their current bottom 3 predicament.
Expect us to lose!

I wonder if the Newcastle fans know that they are now owned by Jamal Khashoggi's murderer?
