And spoil the Newcastle party. It would be typical of us to go there and lose...the press would love it. They would see it as Newcastle overtaking Spurs irrespective of the obvious gap in achievements and recent history.
For me this match would be very telling of our mentality. Will we act like men or rock up like a bunch of tattooed choir boys.
Can Spurs grow some proverbials...

I would love to say we will win and we should do really but you know it's all stacked against us now with the takeover and all spurs fans we 100% know that we will oblige and lose this game and go down with out a whimper. I really really really hope I am wrong but I cannot convince my self otherwise.

We are still playing the same side that has not won a game yet and on paper the team I have posted should be good enough to win. Yes they have sold out all tickets and the place will be buzzing but their team and manager suck as badly as we do lol.

Brazil also play Friday night too hence so count Royal out too.
Ace, yeah that side is not great but not helped by having no Romero, GLC and Royal.

I expect the team to be something like this -
Hugo
Tanganga Rodon Dier Reg
PEH Skipp
Ndombele
Moura Kane Son
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed, and what a crap depressing uninspiring line up it is. Levy ought to be killed in the street for the way he’s let this club go to the dogs.

Bit harsh!

You can get 10/11 on Newcastle or the draw, stick a monkey on and almost double your money

Obvious gap in achievements?!
You’ve won 1 trophy in how many years now?

Oh the timing of it. So typical of Spurs to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Media frenzy will be all over this game, and Spurs are damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Even though starved of "relevant" football all week, will not be going anywhere near this one on Sky anywhere near kickoff, half time or post match.
Can you imagine how the likes of Shearer, Owen etc will be strutting around. Even JJ, the only mainstream pundit with slight alegence to Spurs, is ex Newcastle.
Going to be a nightmare on every broadcast, right through to MOTD2 on Sunday evening..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Get some popcorn in Steve and embrace it lad.
Anyone else looking forward to Mohammed bin "Chopper" Salman's debut? Wonder what position he will play in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't feel I can even say I will try. We both know if we play well and get a result, the media / pundits will ignore that and still talk all things Newcastle. If we play badly and don't get a result, they will ramp up their usual anti Spurs talk to extreme levels.
Either way, it just ain't worth the frustration.

Which referees are dragging Varpool to a result this week?
