Ole - post United

Once he quits/leaves by mutual consent, where will he manage next ? Perhaps I’m a bit harsh calling him a championship standard manager but the media narrative - which does seem to have some influence in how managers and players are perceived - is that Ole is a nice enough guy but not a very good coach and who’s survived as long as he has due to a mix of fan goodwill and the individual ‘moments’ from his best players rather than down to any tactical genius or progressive ideas about the game.

I can’t see any PL clubs taking him on post United. You wouldn’t imagine a relegation threatened club would take him on as the last time one did that he took them down. You couldn’t see a mid table side taking him on as he’s showed at United he needs massive backing to build a side he wants and obviously a top 6 club wouldn’t hire him post United.

Is he destined to manage back in Norway? Or is he gonna take the Davey Moyes route and go to Spain? Where will Ole go next?

Definitely back to Mould. In truth, he should never have left.

Google's better, the answer to everything you search isn't 'Conte'

I would like to see Ole involved with our recruitment team, maybe a job awaits as Asst DOF.

OGS won't leave United. He'll just be moved upstairs to be the Director of Football in a more official, full time capacity.

G Nev will take over as manager, finally having the guts to do so after years sniping away from the comfort of a TV studio. He'll then leave by mutual consent 4 months later with United in and around the relegation zone.

OGS will then take over on a caretaker basis until the end of the season whilst a search for the new manager goes on. OGS's return sees an upturn in form, seeing us finish in the Europa spots and being losing finalists in the FA Cup.

No new manager is found, so OGS takes over as manager on a full time basis.

JH - I was about to post a similar comment about Ole getting kicked upstairs to DoF. He has built a good squad and he's got rid of the poison. Would he accept that? I would hope so. But we'd better have a real top head coach if we are to do this. Cheers.
