Naivity in the extreme, but, I wish Griezmann hadn’t been sent off. He is a fantastic player, a talent you want to watch. Yes, he committed a foul, but it was totally unintentional.

The point is jimmy that he lifted his boot that high intentionally without looking to see who it might hurt.

I too believe catching Firminho in the face was totally unintentional but raising his boot wasn't.

Definite red card and quite rightly so.

Bloody dangerous tackle by Griezman and a stonewall red. Intentional or not doesn’t matter.

yeah they are awful divers and chancers but they have real quality.

What worried me was it looks the equivalent of villa 2020. we were seeing guys run in on us from their own half so couldn't be offside and allison save 2. another night we might get hockeyed!

we are trying to squeeze the game as we do but on a massive pitch and are defending the line over the half way so offside is gone. that's well dodgy stuff.

Yes our defending off the corner was awful from keita but ther was real quality on show form them that we couldn't cope with.



finally on the red card. i have rarely read such rubbish in blaming bobby for dipping his head.

I would like to highlight the criticism for howard webb on the 2010 wolrd cup final when de jong assualted alonso with a kick to chest.

I have sympathy for greizmann. he didn't mean it but he was out of control and he kicked a lad in the neck. its a red.

De jong should have gone but spain still won that one despite the neanderthal ref.

Last night frimino could have got a blade cut to his neck !

but finally BTW us reds saw markovic sent off for a trailing finger nail catching a lad. we should know a blooming red card in europe!!!!
