Watch This Space...Well, Player

Told you all at the very beginning of the saga Arteta was plain wrong and we needed to keep this kid as we needed him and he had a big future ahead." A good start to the season for him if he stays healthy we can expect him to be in the mix for call up to the French WC squad. I always thought he showed his pedigree in his first season with us. As for his discipline, I saw NOTHING from him negative behaviour-wise that we haven't seen from plenty of youngsters (and plenty primers and vets too for that matter). If I recall correctly Arteta himself had his fair share of on pitch hothead moments as a player too

I suspect we'll end up having to sell him for nowhere near what he'll become worth because the Arteta bridge to him is well and truly burnt I think. But keep an eye on his season because the more he shines is more pressure can be mounted to sack Arteta. The kid was in his element playing for us and was happy here until Arteta turned up. I don't think he'll return to play here whilst Arteta is still in charge. And I'm sure that by the end of this season his stats will show that given everything else Arteta fecked up already, sacking him to ensure our starbound CM is happy to come home, will be more than worth it.

I'm a massive fan of Guendouzi and it will be extremely foolish to sell him, and we will definitely regret it. The boy is a top talent and he will prove it. He is a bit of a hothead who just needs the right man-management. I can't understand how Arteta got rid of him for his spat with Maupay which should have been handled differently internally. Unfortunately the boy now probably feels more secure and comfortable in France.

He’s clearly a hard player to manage, a number of different managers at different clubs have highlighted it. I’m not too annoyed by us not being able to handle him, you get players that really just don’t fit in to certain clubs or countries, so it probably was just never going to work out for him here no matter what we did. Also he’s not the level of player you’d put up with a tonne of crap because he always delivers on the pitch. What’s more if a shame is we’ll probably lose him for his small buy out clause, which is like 8m or something? If we could renegotiate than now we could potentially almost double that, but also think his contract is running down, so we’re a bit hamstrung.

Emery never seemed to have too much of a problem managing him. I don't remember any string of incidents and drama in his first season and he had a rookie blinder pretty much. Only trouble here started in the second season when he clearly and RIGHTLY psd at continually being left out if the side for Ozil whom was failing to produce game after game. I can fully understand and appreciate his position there.

As for post Arteta arrival, ALL of the blame for that lands on Arteta. He made a big miscalculation in how to handle the player. He started off bang out of order which immediately put the already discontent (justifiably) player way offside. Then escalated things even further by harassing him for sh!t he hadn't even done. Fact is had Arteta just dropped Ozil, put Guen back in the team instead of making mountains out of molehills about a kid acting like a kid. Then Guen would likely have settled and become one of our most productive players (as in his debut season under Emery). But he was too busy acting the bigger kid himself. Man management FAILURE! Resoundly

You "told us" did you? You told us that he might be a half decent player in nearly 2 years? Wow. I'm almost tempted to not dismiss every post you make as complete fantasy now...

I'm not a big fan of most things Arteta does but I have no problem with how he's handled this prick.Guendouzi is clearly a c*nt. He's been involved in drama at every club he's played for. He's not yet achieved anything on the pitch to make dealing with him worthwhile.

What exactly did he do that deserved the way Arteta treats him?
